Public brightR apps

A special folder on your brightRserver is reserved for public brightR apps — applications that are accessible without authentication. However, in order to have knowledge of the public brightR apps on your server, you must be logged in to see the list of published brightR apps.

All applications located at /yakdata/public-brightR are treated as public brightR apps. These applications run in the same brightRserver R environment as secured applications.

To access a public brightR app from the web, visit [your server domain name] /public-brightR/ [your app name]. Note that a sample public brightR app is included with each brightRserver by default. If you prefer that no public brightR apps be available, simply delete the public-brightR folder at /yakdata/webapps.
